Would just like to point out that if Yates made a Doctor Who film and disregarded EVERYTHING about the show then the movie would be no fucking good and whovians would simply refuse to go see it therefore it would not make any money. This guy is out to make a profit out of a hugely loved show .. Therefore, it is just common sense to make it appealing and interesting to the target audience...
